SALE SANTA DASH 2025

We are delighted to bring you this year’s Sale Santa Dash fundraiser on Sunday 30th November at Sale Water Park. We will be starting outside Treetops Café on Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX. As usual we will be holding two untimed Santa Dashes with the Family Dash at 9am and another one at 10.30am for all the big kids out there!

You are welcome to run, jog, walk or dance your way along the routes - anything goes!

Everybody is welcome to take part and, as always, no one gets left behind. Each entrant will receive a medal, Santa hat, Christmas confectionery and kids get a Christmassy craft item too. We are also delighted to confirm that the Sale District Scout & Guide Band are returning with their Christmassy tunes for a second year!

The Sale Santa Dash is a FANCY DRESS event - the bigger the better! Whilst fancy dress is not mandatory there are prizes for the best Christmassy outfits in each race including Best Adult, Best Kid and Best Four Legged Friend.

9AM FAMILY 2.2K DASH

Starting outside the Treetops Café, runners will start with a Christmassy warm up! Runners will be led to the start line, just before the lake, and will complete one lap of the Water Park anti-clockwise, finishing just before the Boathouse (formerly Deckers) restaurant. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed big kids (male and female), small kids (male and female) and best dressed four-legged friend.

10.30AM 5K DASH

Starting outside the Treetops Café, runners will start with a Christmassy warm up! Runners will be led to the start line, just before the lake, and will complete the existing ParkRun 5K route, finishing back at the start. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed big kids (male and female), small kids (male and female) and best dressed four-legged friend.

We cannot wait to bring the local community together to kick off the Christmas season for the sixth year running - in previous years we have raised over £1,000 for Trafford Choices, Papyrus, Stockdales and Prostate Cancer UK. This year we’re raising money for ourselves - MileShyClub is a registered charity that raises money to support people to get more active and improve their physical and mental health.
