MANCHESTER MARATHON VOLUNTEERING

Hey everybody! The Manchester Marathon is on Sunday 19th April - less than three months time. As always we are looking to recruit a team of volunteers - if you sign up to volunteer with our MileShyClub team they will make a cash donation per person to the club which we would HUGELY appreciate as these funds go straight to our charity.

For the past few years our marshalling squad have marshalled around Cross Street/Dane Road in Sale and we have asked for the same spot again although this cannot be confirmed until nearer the time. We will also have a volunteering squad somewhere inside the Event Village at the finish line on Oxford Road. You can choose which location you prefer.

If you’d like to volunteer with us please complete the short form below and we can get you added to one of our teams. Until we know where we are placed we can’t give guaranteed start and finish times but Manchester Marathon state volunteering shifts are usually eight hours. Based on our previous experience marshalling shifts start around 8am and can sometimes take until 7pm. Event Village volunteers also start around 8am and usually finish around 4pm. All volunteers will be provided with an allowance for lunch.
