How did you get into running?
Walking to get fit, I met a member of MileShy who was tail-walking at Parkrun and kept me company. She talked to me and asked about my story. She then invited me to attend the MileShy club. Very nervous and feeling quite ridiculous, I turned up.

To say it was the best thing I have ever done sounds dramatic but it is true. It has turned my life around. I had never ran or even exercised, I was almost 59 and overweight. I worked hard and did the C25k programme and four months later completed a 10k, seven months after that a Half Marathon. I now love coaching and specialise in beginner runners. 

What is your favourite event and why? 
My favourite events are the graduation runs when our C25k achieve their first 5k. Also the Goody bag Parkruns.

What else do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love being with family and friends. I love anything that involves the MileShy family, whether that be participating in events, supporting or just socialising.
