MANCHESTER MARATHON CHEER SQUAD

Hey everybody! The Manchester Marathon is on Sunday 19th April - less than three months time. We always have a mini cheer squad in the middle of Cross Street in Sale (not far from Majestic Wines) and this year we would love to get your support and have a real MileShy cheer station there with lots of MileShyers clapping and cheering and literally waving the MileShy flag! We also have a loud speaker to provide the party atmosphere and there will of course be snacks!

It’s a fabulous location as we get to cheer our runners on in both directions and as it’s a really popular cheering spot there’s always an amazing atmosphere. It’s really close to Dane Road Tram Station so getting there is super easy and our MileShy volunteering squad should be in the same area too!

If you’d like to cheer with us on the day please indicate which hours you’re available on the sign up form below. We don’t expect people to stay all day, you can stay for as little or as long as you like - we just need to make sure we stagger people throughout the day so that there’s always somebody with the equipment. We’ll create a WhatsApp group beforehand so that we can manage logistics on the day.
